Mili

Mili works to prevent ovulation and fertilization while it reinforces the womb against the attachment of a fertilized egg. Mili prevents the release of an egg and thickens vaginal fluid to prevent sperm from reaching an egg. Mili changes the lining of the uterus to prevents attachment of a fertilized egg. Fertilized eggs that don't attach are passed out of the body.

Mili is available by prescription and may be included in your insurance plan. Contact your insurance provider to find out if your medication is covered.

Mili should be taken at the same time every day. Because the amount of hormone in each pill can vary at different times in the monthly cycle it is important to follow instructions and take the pill at the same time every day and in the correct order. Do not skip any doses. When you first begin taking Mili, consider using backup birth control for the first two weeks. If you experience stomach upset while taking this medication, try taking it after your evening meal or at bedtime.

This medication raises the chance for blood clots or stroke especially in women over 35 who smoke. Mili does not protect against STDs.

Most side effects are common and dissipate with continued use. Serious side effects can includelumps in the breast, mood changes, severe abdominal pain, or changes in vaginal bleeding. Rare side effects include blood clots. Get medical help if you experience pain in the chest or jaw, confusion or sudden dizziness.

No. In most cases, weight gain is actually temporary water retention that should resolve after you've been taking Mili for several months. If you find your weight is increasing, consider a pill with a lower dosage of estrogen.

Keep in mind that today's pills typically have lower amounts of hormones than when oral contraceptives were first introduced, making weight gain less likely.

Like any birth control containing estrogen, there is a chance for increased appetite. if you find your eating habits have changed, consider talking to your doctor about a different combination of hormones.

Because Mili contains both estrogen and progestin it can be effective on certain types of acne. Talk to your doctor to see if Mili is the right pill to help fight and prevent your acne.

Mili can interact with several different types of medications including mood stabilizers and treatments for depression. Consult with your doctor and provide them with a list of your medications and supplements to make sure Mili is right for you. If you have diabetes, Mili can elevate your blood sugar. Be sure to monitor your blood sugar and let your doctor know of any changes.
